Dr. Viviane Aicha Ryan died on November 29, 2011. She was born on May 25, 1926 in Casablanca, Morocco to Maklouf Ohayon and Esther Acoca. Viviane received a doctorate in Romance Languages in 1970 from New York University. She was Professor of French at New York University, Hunter College and Yeshiva University. She was married to Tomás L. Ryan, Esq., who died on April 24, 2009. Beloved mother of Tomás L. Ryan de Heredia, Esq. and Gabriela Ryan de Heredia. Beloved sister, aunt, cousin.
