Ruth Pauker Davis died peacefully on October 1, 2011 in Santa Fe, NM, where she had resided for the past year. A New Yorker through and through, Ruth was born and raised in Manhattan and educated at Ethical Culture, Fieldston and NYU. Long-time resident of Kingston, NY. She will be missed by those who survive her: daughters Nancy Snell (NY), Jane Davis (Santa Fe, NM) and Karen Davis (Los Angeles,CA), sons-in-law Stephen Snell and Nick Athanassiadis, grandchildren Elizabeth Snell and Michael Athanassiadis. May she find eternal peace. The family will be receiving friends during shiva at the home of : Nancy & Stephen Snell, 165 East 66th Street, New York, N.Y. Apt 4A Days: Monday, 10/3 , 4pm – 8:30pm, Tuesday 10/4 & Wednesday 10/5 , 11:00am – 2:00pm and 5:30pm-8:30pm, Thursday, 5:30-8:30pm.
