To my dearest Adrienne and brother Mitch, Last week a candle was extinguished. This candle represented a part of many people's lives. Our beloved friend, brother and husband was a man who was a collector of friends. I had the unfortunate obligation to inform many people I have not seen nor spoken to in 50 years, and it was as if time stood still. We were all young then and now have reached a point in time where we can draw on the many, many happy and wonderful moments of the past that we shared with the man who held this candle: Steven Gruberg. At this time, it is better for us to now dry our tears and shed our grief because Steven would never have accepted sadness to be associated with his incredibly wonderful life. So now we will all just have to wait until we meet again and restore the link that has been broken. May God bless you and hold you in His arms to comfort you forever.
